2011 released Olympus XZ-1 is seen $170 (ex GST) at a duty free shop, 27 Adelaide St, Brisbane.
If you are not going overseas shortly you might need to pay extra 10% of GST but still cheaper than the second hands on eBay.
I don't know how many stocks do they have but a duty free store is not expected to hold large stock of a phased out model, I suppose.

A bit of an old model but still a great camera. That 18X zoom on a P&S is insane!
Cheaper and better than the Canon Ixus 500 HS IMO.

Noticed this today, was heavily considering buying this considering the price but have too many camera's at the moment to warrant another one at the moment.
A majority of other stores are currently selling these for $400-$500, it even seems to be the cheapest in the world.
This was after a quick search for pricing.
